今日の情熱大陸「トータス松本」
ミュージシャン・トータス松本、４０歳。
数々のヒット曲を生み出し、今や日本を代表するバンドとなったウルフルズ。トータス松本は、そのヴォーカリストでありほぼ全ての楽曲を作詞・作曲する、いわば“ウルフルズの顔”である。今年、デビュー１５周年を迎える。
彼が歌い上げる言葉は飾り気がなくストレート、それでいて切なく、聴く者の魂を揺さぶる。彼は言う、「自分はアーティストでもミュージシャンでもなく、バンドマンだ。」と。その思いは熱い。
番組では、ファンクラブ会員限定のシークレットライブツアーに密着した。また、デビュー前の思い出の地にも同行。さらに、故郷にて彼のことを最もよく知る人物から話を聞くなど、その素顔と魅力に迫る。
やっぱいいなあ、トータス。
学生の頃スペースシャワーTVでトータスとユースケの番組をよく見ていたなあ〜という事を思い出しながら今見ています。
